Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Han Ji Eun is in discussion to star in a new OCN drama.
On May 14, reports circulated that Han Ji Eun will be working with Lee Dong Wook on the upcoming OCN drama titled "Bad and Crazy". The drama is set to air in the second half of the year.
A representative from "Bad and Crazy" production confirmed the news that they offered the female lead role to Han Ji Eun. Lee Dong Wook also received a casting offer for the drama and is positively reviewing it.
"Bad and Crazy" will be directed by Yoo Seon Dong and written by Kim Sae Bom. This will be their next collaboration work after "The Uncanny Counter".
The drama will reveal the journey of a materialistic police detective who will change into someone who fights for justice against corruption alongside the hidden persona "K".
Han Ji Eun was offered the role of Her Kyeom, a police lieutenant on the narcotics team.
"Bad and Crazy" will reportedly have 12 episodes. Reports state that it will air on OCN sometime after the broadcast of "Dark Hole", "Voice 4: Judgment Hour", and "Island: Season 1".
Han Ji Eun made her acting debut through the 2010 movie “Be With Me”. She's been active in both dramas and movies. The actress last starred in the 2020 KakaoTV drama "Lovestruck in the City" with Ji Chang Wook, Kim Ji Won, Kim Min Seok, So Ju Yeon, and Ryu Kyung Soo. She is also part of the cast of hit dramas "Kkondae Intern", "Be Melodramatic", "100 Days My Prince", and more. Han Ji Eun is also the main lead for the "Drama Stage Season 4: EP, Hi Dorothy" with Kim Joo Heon, Choi Ji Su, and Jung Kang Hee.
