"Love Next Door" Enters Final Week with a Rise in Ratings
Heo Nam Jun transforms into Kim Myung Min's problematic son in Your Honor.
The first stills of Heo Nam Jun in the role of Kim Sang Hyuk in the Genie TV original drama Your Honor, have been released.
In the K-drama, Kim Sang Hyuk is the eldest son of Woowon Group's chairman Kim Kang Heon (Kim Myung Min), who resembles his father in both his cruelty and charisma. After his younger half-brother dies under mysterious circumstances, he vows merciless revenge.
The actor expressed his excitement about joining Your Honor, saying, "I think the biggest thrill was being able to work with Son Hyun Joo sunbae and Kim Myung Min sunbae and learn from them." He added, "The biggest charm of the character Sang Hyuk was his curiosity that comes from emotions that are not typical and easily understandable."
He further commented, "He [Kim Sang Hyuk] felt like the most challenging character I've portrayed [so far]. I strived to portray him like a pure child through speech and actions, and show some aspects that make him come across as a little immature."
Your Honor will premiere on August 12. There is no news yet about the K-drama's global OTT service.
