The Fiery Priest 2 introduces new characters while retaining familiar faces
JTBC's The Tale of Lady Ok, starring Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Kim Jae Won, Yeonwoo, Sung Dong Il, and Kim Mi Sook, has been confirmed to release on November 30.
The Tale of Lady Ok tells the story of Ok Tae Young, a woman whose name, status, and husband are all fake, and Cheon Seung Hwi, a storyteller who risked his life to protect her.
Im Ji Yeon transforms into Ok Tae Young, a runaway slave living under a fake identity. She is Joseon's greatest talent, for whom nothing is impossible.
Choo Young Woo plays Cheon Seung Hwi, Joseon's greatest romanticist who would do anything for love, including risking his life to protect his beloved.
Yeonwoo plays Cha Mi Ryung, who learns from and wants to be like Ok Tae Young.
Kim Jae Won portrays Sung Do Gyeom, the perfect young man coveted by every noble family in town, who trusts and follows his sister-in-law, Ok Tae Young.
Sung Dong Il will portray Seong Gyu Jin, the county magistrate and father-in-law who recognized Ok Tae Young's intelligence and talent early on.
Kim Mi Sook will take on the role of Lady Han, the strong and wise grandmother who protects the Ok family. She has a keen insight and warm heart.
The Tale of Lady Ok will premiere on November 30. More news about the K-drama's global OTT platform is yet to come.
