INFINITE's Kim Myung Soo and actor Choi Jin Hyuk got the offer to lead a new MBC K-drama.
According to several industry insiders on November 29th, Kim Myung Soo and Choi Jin Hyuk will join forces in leading the upcoming MBC K-drama titled "Accounting Firm" (tentative title).
Kim Myung Soo's agency management 2sang responded to the reports. The agency shared that Kim Myung Soo is positively considering appearing in the MBC series.
Choi Jin Hyuk's agency G-Tree Creative also confirmed the reports that the actor did receive the casting offer. Just like Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk is also positively reviewing the casting offer.
"Accounting Firm" is a series set in an accounting firm's office and surroundings.
Kim Myung Soo got the offer to play the role of Jang Ho Woo, the first and only high school graduate employee in Taeil Accounting Firm.
Choi Jin Hyuk got the offer to play the role of the senior manager who has been working in the firm for 12 years.
"Accounting Firm" will exclusively premiere on MBC. There are no official details yet on the broadcast date.
If Kim Myung Soo and Choi Jin Hyuk confirm their casting, this will be their grand comeback to the small screens. Kim Myung Soo recently got discharged from the military and this will possibly be his first k-drama after three years. Meanwhile, this will also be the first official K-drama of Choi Jin Hyuk after three years. The actor is currently active in the variety program "My Little Old Boy."
Kim Myung Soo last appeared in the K-drama "Secret Royal Inspector" with Hello Venus' Kwon Na Ra, Lee Yi Kyung, and Lee Tae Hwan.
Choi Jin Hyuk on the other hand last starred in the 2020 K-drama "Zombie Detective." He also made a special appearance in the series "Mr. Queen" and "Genesis."
