Jang Ki Yong, Krystal, and Chae Soo Bin's new movie "Sweet and Sour" confirms its release!

Upcoming Netflix movie "Sweet and Sour" confirmed its premiere date and other details!

On April 7th, Netflix announced that the upcoming movie "Sweet and Sour," helmed by Lee Kye Byuk, will officially be released on June 4th, worldwide. 

The upcoming romantic comedy film will tell the story of the sweet and sour happenings in a relationship. The couple started dating as they felt love at first sight but after they enter a new environment on their new job, their relationship drifts apart. The story will revolve around the relationships between Jang Hyuk (Jang Ki Yong), Da Eun (Chae Soo Bin), and Bo Young (Krystal). 

For this film, Krystal will play the role of Bo Young. She will enter the company at the same time as Jang Hyuk. The two started as rivals in the company as they compete to get a full-time position but, as time goes by, Bo Young and Jang Hyuk eventually became close. 

Krystal has been active as an actress rather than an idol since she left her first agency, SM Entertainment. This 2021, she will be part of this movie as well as two upcoming dramas such as "My Little Police," and "Graduation Season." 

Jang KI Yong will play as Jang Hyuk, the boyfriend of Chae Soo Bin's character Da Eun who finally got a job at a big company. Jang Hyuk is the typical boyfriend who's only sweet and caring in the early days of his relationship. As time passes by, he becomes indifferent and will not be as passionate as before in his relationship. 

Jang Ki Yong will be part of two dramas this year as well. He will be the male lead of the upcoming tvN drama "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" with Girl's Day Lee Hye Ri and Song Hye Kyo's comeback drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up". 

Lastly, Chae Soo Bin will play the role of a nurse named Da Eun. She's the current girlfriend of Jang Hyuk. She's struggling with how her work and love life are not like what she had hoped for. 

Aside from "Sweet and Sour," she was also cast on the upcoming star studded movie "The Pirates: Goblin Flag." She will work together with Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, and more. The actress is also reviewing the offer to play the female lead role in upcoming series "Our Police Course" with idol Kang Daniel. 

"Sweet and Sour" will be available globally through Netflix starting June 4.
