"Hospital Playlist" Kim Dae Myung joins Lee Je Hoon's new JTBC K-drama
Jo Dong In cast in Hellbound Season 2.
It was confirmed on March 13 that Jo Dong In will be joining Hellbound Season 2. He will be working alongside Kim Hyun Joo, Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Shin Rok, Yang Dong Geun, Yang Ik Jun, and Lee Re.
Hellbound Season 2 will continue to showcase the supernatural phenomenon wherein mysterious beings appear on Earth unannounced and issue a decree and condemn individuals to hell.
It will be the collaboration work of director Yeon Sang Ho (Train to Busan and Jung_E) and writer Choi Gyu Seok.
Jo Dong In is one of the additions to the series. He will play the role of "Pinwheel" who leads the supporters of The Arrowheads.
Through his agency Just Entertainment, Jo Dong In shared his thoughts regarding his participation in the upcoming season of Hellbound. He shared,
"I am glad and thankful for being able to act on a good project. I want to do my all and be the best in the upcoming work."
Hellbound Season 2 will begin its filming in the second half of 2023. According to reports, the Netflix original series will air in 2024.
This will be the first project of Jo Dong In for the year. Last year, the actor made a special appearance in the K-dramas The First Responders and Adamas.
Jo Dong In made his acting debut in 2012. He is active in movies and K-dramas. He has starred in the works Night with a Perfect Stranger, One Step, Warriors of the Dawn, Night in Paradise, The Guardians, Hyena, Kairos, Bad and Crazy, and more.
Hellbound Season 2 will be his first time to star in a Netflix original drama.
