The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call promises to be more than just a medical drama.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), a genius surgeon who has performed surgeries even in the most chaotic conflict zones. He takes on the mission of leading the underfunded and sidelined Trauma Team at a university hospital.

Amidst high anticipation for the K-drama, Netflix released 20 stills giving a glimpse of the dynamic exploits of the Trauma Team as they race against time to save patients.

The first thing to catch the eye is Baek Kang Hyuk's face, streaked with sweat and blood. A character who spares no effort to save the patients, Baek Kang Hyuk's appearance, as he wears an oxygen mask, hints at the challenges he faces in critical moments.

Particularly striking is his confident and sly smile during a press briefing, which hints at his unpredictability that keeps everyone guessing. His firm determination and charisma amplify the excitement for his extraordinary feats.

The growth of fellow Yang Jae Won (Choo Young Woo) is also one of the K-drama's highlights. As Baek Kang Hyuk's first disciple and "slave No. 1," Yang Jae Won leaves his flowery career path to follow the genius trauma surgeon, growing as he comes to work under him.

A still of Yang Jae Won sitting exhausted on the floor next to Baek Kang Hyuk after finishing surgery highlights their heavy duty as doctors.

Director Lee Do Yoon further raises expectations, stating, "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call is not only a thrilling action drama about the genius surgeon Baek Kang Hyuk but also a story of rookie fellow Yang Jae Won's personal growth, who becomes a capable doctor saving people's lives."

Senior nurse Cheon Jang Mi (Ha Young), known for her grit, stands as a pillar for the Trauma Team, tirelessly handling the high pressure like a veteran. Her fearlessness and synergy with Baek Kang Hyuk and Yang Jae Won add another layer of entertainment.

Meanwhile, anesthesiology resident Park Kyung Won (Jeong Jae Kwang) is a skilled professional acknowledged even by Baek Kang Hyuk. Supporting surgeries with unwavering focus, Park's presence on the team is substantial.

The stills portraying the colorectal surgery department head Han Yu Rim (Yoon Gyung Ho) also grab attention. Initially smiling and shouting "down with Baek Kang Hyuk" alongside the administrative director, Han later appears on site for an emergency.

Kim Eui Sung takes on the role of the hospital director at Korea University Hospital, Choi Jo Eun, who is on alert for emergencies after Baek Kang Hyuk turns the hospital upside down on his very first day.

Kim Won Hae plays the administrative director, who clashes with Baek Kang Hyuk after he boldly declares his intent to transform the trauma team, which has been costing the hospital money, into a fully functional Trauma Center.

Additionally, Kim Sun Young portrays Minister Kang, Baek Kang Hyuk's strong supporter.

Director Lee Do Yoon stated, "What sets The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call apart is that it's not just a medical drama. It is a hero story, an action spectacle, and a comedy all rolled into one.Ju Ji Hoon described it as "an exhilarating seriesand added, "It’s a story about overcoming hardships with hope."
