Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Kang Ha Neul will finally return with a new drama!
On February 10, Kang Ha Neul is confirmed to star in the upcoming action suspense JTBC drama titled "Insider".
"Insider" will tell the story of a judicial trainee named Kim Yo Han, the role that will be portrayed by Kang Ha Neul. He's a character with a sense of prudence and a unique poker face. The drama will showcase his struggle in revenge and growth.
The upcoming drama will be directed by Min Yeon Hong, who also worked on OCN's drama "Missing: The Other Side." The script will be written by Moon Man Se, who wrote OCN's drama "Priest". Ace Factory who produced tvN's "Stranger" series, "Confession" and JTBC's "When the Weather Is Fine", will also work on "Insider".
This will be Kang Ha Neul's return to the drama scene since 2019. He last appeared in the hit KBS drama "When the Camellia Blooms" with actress Gong Hyo Jin. The drama itself won multiple awards and the grand prize at the the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. It is considered one of the best dramas in 2019.
With Kang Ha Neul's participation in the drama "When the Camellia Blooms" as Hwang Yong Shik, he got several awards such as Top Excellence Award, Actor category in 2019 KBS Drama Awards, Best Male Actor Award for TV at the the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, Best Male Actor Award at the 15th Seoul Drama Awards and many more.
Kang Ha Neul also appeared in dramas such as "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo", "Misaeng: Incomplete Life", "The Heirs", "To The Beautiful You"and more.
"Insider" is scheduled to air on the second half of 2021.
