Kim Dong Hwi will reportedly join the upcoming movie "The Comment Unit" (literal translation).
Several media outlets reported on January 27 that Kim Dong Hwi will join hands with Son Seok Koo in the upcoming film "The Comment Unit."
Kim Dong Hwi's agency Ace Factory responded to the reports and shared that the actor did receive the offer and he is positively reviewing it.
Son Seok Koo's agency also responded to the reports of the actor starring in the upcoming movie. SBD Entertainment revealed that the film is one of the works that the actor is currently reviewing.
This will possibly be the first film of Kim Dong Hwi for 2023. Last year, he starred in the movies "In Our Prime" and "A Christmas Carol." The actor will also star in two k-dramas this year. He will join the upcoming k-dramas "Deal" with Yoo Seung Ho, Yoo Soo Bin, and Lee Joo Young, and "80 Billion Boy" with Lee Hyo Bin and Park Myung Hoon.
Kim Dong Hwi made his acting debut in 2014. Since then, he has been active both in movies and k-dramas. He has starred in several works such as "The Royal Tailor," "Phantom Detective," "Journey to the Shore," "Stranger Season 2," and "Missing: The Other Side Season 2."
"The Comment Unit" will base its story on the novel of the same name by Jang Kang Myung. It will showcase the illegal election and forces that will manipulate the public's opinion with the use of the internet.
Director Ahn Kook Jin will be directing the upcoming film.
According to reports, the upcoming movie will begin filming this coming Spring.
