Hwang In Youp will make a cameo appearance in Kim You Jung's new K-drama "Dear. X"
Kim Hi Eo Ra shared her decision about her casting in the upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon.
On August 4th, through the exclusive report of media outlet Star News, it was revealed that Kim Hi Eo Ra has decided to not appear in the upcoming K-drama Jeong Nyeon.
Back in April, media outlets reported that Kim Hi Eo Ra will be joining the K-drama led by Kim Tae Ri. Her agency also shared that the actress is positively reviewing the casting offer. After several months, Kim Hi Eo Ra has decided to not appear in the series due to personal reasons.
Jeong Nyeon will tell the story of a Mokpo girl named Yoon Jeong Nyeon who was born with no money or education in the 1950s. The K-drama will showcase her journey in entering the women's traditional theater company to achieve her dream of becoming rich. It will be based on a popular webtoon of the same name written by Seo Irae and illustrated by Namon.
Aside from Kim Tae Ri, the K-drama will be led by Shin Ye Eun, Kim Hi Eo Ra, Ra Mi Ran, and Moon So Ri.
The K-drama will be helmed by Jung Ji In (The Red Sleeve) and writer Choi Hyo Bi (A Time Called You and Babysitter).
Kim Hi Eo Ra is currently starring in the recently premiered K-drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch together with Byeong Kyu, Kim Se Jeong, Yoo Joon Sang, Yeom Hye Ran, Ahn Suk Hwan, and Yoo In Soo.
There are no reports yet on the next project of the actress after her villain role in The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch.
Early this year, Kim Hi Eo Ra became more known to the public after she starred in the Netflix original K-drama The Glory Part 2.
