SISTAR's Kim Da Som confirmed to join Lee Si Young in "Salon De Holmes"
Kim Hye Yoon is in talks to star in the upcoming tvN drama "Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi"
On April 1, media outlets reported that Kim Hye Yoon was offered to play the female lead role for "Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi." 2PM's Ok Taecyeon is in talks to be the male lead of the drama.
Kim Hye Yoon received the offer to play the role of Kim Jo Yi, which was also offered to actress Jung So Min.
Director Yoo Jong Sun ("Designated Survivor: 60 Days" PD) and scriptwriter Lee Jae Yoon ("The Undateables" writer) will be the ones responsible for the production of "Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi." The drama will narrate the story of undercover royal inspectors who are tasked to expose the wrongdoings of officials.
Kim Hye Yoon made her name known in the industry with her spectacular acting in the hit 2018 JTBC drama "Sky Castle". Her follow up project "Extraordinary You" with SF9's Ro Woon and Lee Jae Wook was also well received by the public. The actress is currently filming for the upcoming highly talked about drama "Snowdrop" starring Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK's Kim Ji Soo. If she confirms her casting for "Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi", this will be her second drama for 2021. She is also set to appear in the upcoming movie "Midnight" with Jin Ki Joo and Wi Ha Joon.
"Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi" will begin filming after they have finalized the whole casting. The drama expects to begin airing in the second half of the year.
