Kim Jae Wook will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama Melo Movie with Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young.
On January 19, media outlets revealed that Kim Jae Wook will be added to the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Melo Movie.
In response to the circulating casting news, Kim Jae Wook's agency Management SOOP shared, "Kim Jae Wook did receive the offer to star in Melo Movie and it is currently under positive review."
Melo Movie will be about young people who face their hardships and bad luck confidently, meet someone they can finally lean on, and take a rest from always trying hard.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Choi Woo Shik, Park Bo Young. Lee Jun Young, and Jeon So Nee.
There is no information yet on the character that was offered to Kim Jae Wook.
Melo Movie will be helmed by director Oh Choong Hwan (Castaway Diva, Hotel del Luna, and My Love from the Star) and writer Lee Na Eun (Our Beloved Summer).
If Kim Jae Wook confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama. The actor will also reportedly lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Hong Rang with Lee Jae Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, and Park Byung Eun.
Kim Jae Wook also recently made his special cameo appearance in the webtoon-based K-drama Death's Game Part 2.
The actor's last official project was the 2022 K-drama Crazy Love wherein he worked alongside Krystal Jung, Ha Joon, Yoo In Young, Im Won Hee, and Park Han Sol.
Many are already anticipating the next work of actor Kim Jae Wook after almost two years of no official project.
