Kim Ji In will join the upcoming drama special "Drama Stage 2022: XXXY."
On April 15th, it was announced that Kim Ji In will be joining "Drama Stage 2022: XXXY." She will be working with
Choi Woo Sung and Ahn Hyun Ho. The series will air on tvN.
"Drama Stage 2022: XXXY" will tell the story of a high school student who was born as XXXY, a person of both sexes, and has the right to choose his or her future.
Kim Ji In will play the role of Lee Sera, the cover model for the school magazine. She is also the only friend who accepts Jae Yi (Ahn Hyun Ho), who is currently having a hard time with her choice of identity.
The actress shared her thoughts on the upcoming drama through her agency. The actress stated, "I felt warmth throughout the filming because of my character's self-confidence and special friendship with the others. There are a lot of immature things in the drama but I hope people will see the special stories and beautiful period of adolescence and viewers can also have a healing time."
tvN's "Drama Stage 2022: XXXY" will officially premiere on May 9 and 10 at 10:30 PM KST.
This will be the first drama of Kim Ji In for the year. She last starred in the 2021 Netflix original drama "So Not Worth it" with Park Se Wan, Shin Hyun Seung, GOT7's Choi Young Jae, and more. She also made a special appearance in the JTBC drama "Idol: The Coup."
Kim Ji In made her acting debut in 2017. She was part of the dramas "The Best Moment To Quit Your Job," "Just One Bite," "Madam Cha Dal Rae's Love," "How to Hate You," "Extraordinary You," "Hyena," "Memorist," "Start-Up," and more.
