"Bad Memory Eraser" Sees Ratings Improvement, "Good Partner" Continues with Double-Digit Viewership
Idol star and actress Kim Ji Soo and actor Park Jeong Min's zombie K-drama Newtopia (previously titled Influenza) is coming next year.
Newtopia tells the story of soldier Lee Jae Yun (Park Jeong Min) and his girlfriend Kang Yeong Ju (Kim Ji Soo) racing towards each other across a zombie-attacked Seoul.
In the stills, Yeong Ju is seen being distracted by something in an alleyway, whereas, Jae Yun is depicted in shock as he encounters the zombie crisis during his military service.
He is seen facing the situation with his junior, In Ho (Im Sung Jae).
Newtopia is director Yoon Sung Hyun's first OTT project. He reunites with Park Jeong Min, with whom he previously collaborated on Time to Hunt. The script is written by Han Jin Won (Parasite) and Ji Ho Jin (A Shop for Killers). The K-drama is set to be released next year.
