Lee Joo Bin confirms her next work after "Queen of Tears"
Actress Kim Jung Young will be joining the cast of the drama "Anna."
On December 21st, Kim Jung Young announced that the actress will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming drama "Anna."
"Anna" will be directed by Lee Joo Young ("A Single Rider" and "On the Other Side of You.") It will tell the story of a woman who started off with small lies and ended up living another person's life. The drama will be led by Miss A's Bae Suzy and Jung Eun Chae. It will be an 8 episode drama that will exclusively air on Coupang Play.
Bae Suzy will portray the role of Yoo Mi. She will be the woman who will eventually live someone else's life. Jung Eun Chae will portray the role of Hyun Joo, the woman who is above everyone else and has had a perfect life since birth.
Kim Jung Young will portray the character named Hong Joo. No other details have been revealed yet about her character.
"Anna" will be the second original series from Coupang Play. The first drama from the platform was "One Ordinary Day" with Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won. Aside from dramas, Coupang Play has various content on its platform.
The upcoming series "Anna" will reportedly premiere next year.
In 2021, Kim Jung Young starred in the drama "River Where the Moon Rises." She also made several special appearances in the dramas "Sell Your Haunted House," "Racket Boys," and "Jirisan."
"Anna" will be her first-ever drama project for 2022. Aside from dramas, Kim Jung Young is also set to star in the upcoming movie "Gyeong Ah's Daughter."
