Kim Mi Kyung is the new addition to the cast of the upcoming SBS drama "Trolley."
"Trolley" will depict the trials a couple will encounter after their deepest secret gets unveiled to the public. The drama will revolve around a lawmaker's wife who hides a secret past.
The upcoming series will be led by Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Kim Mu Yeol, Jung Soo Bin, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Ki Tae Young. Kim Mi Kyung is the new addition to the drama and she will work closely with Park Hee Soon's character.
"Trolley" is the latest work of director Kim Moon Kyo and writer Ryu Bo Ri ("Do You Like Brahms?").
In the drama, Kim Mi Kyung will showcase a new side of her as a politician. This will be the fourth drama of Kim Mi Kyung for 2022. She starred in the series "Forecasting Love and Weather," "Welcome to Wedding Hell," and "Remarriage and Desires." All of her roles for 2022 were the mother of the main leads. This time, she will show her charisma through the series "Trolley."
"Trolley" is set to premiere this December. The series will exclusively premiere on SBS and it will be part of the Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot of the broadcast channel.
Kim Mi Kyung was confirmed to star in the drama "Trolley" through her agency on October 28th.
Popeye Entertainment announced that the actress will be joining the cast and will play the role of a politician.
Kim Mi Kyung will portray the role of Woo Jin Suk, a judge turned parliamentary representative. She was the one responsible for nominating lawyer Nam Joong Do, Park Hee Soon's character to be a representative eight years ago.
