Kim Mu Yeol digs into the secret surrounding the king's death in Queen Woo.
Queen Woo is a historical drama about Queen Woo, who becomes the target of five factions and princes of Goguryeo vying for the throne after the king's death.
In the K-drama, actor Kim Mu Yeol plays Eul Pa So, the highest official in Goguryeo and the head of the State Council. Eul Pa So is a figure who rose to the position of prime minister under the command of King Gukcheon of Goguryeo (Ji Chang Wook). Not only is he wise, but also adept at reading the political flow among the factions. Even when the king is away due to prolonged wars, Eul Pa So leads the state administration stably.
When the king dies suddenly after returning from war, Eul Pa So proposes a marriage alliance to Queen Woo Hee (Jeon Jong Seo) to prevent a power struggle for the throne among the factions. He then steadfastly protects the palace, uncovers the secrets of the king's death, and becomes the queen's biggest ally.
The stills depict Eul Pa So in his role as the prime minister leading Goguryeo. His intense gaze while contemplating the janggi (Korean chess) board in front of him reflects the charisma of a leader guiding the nation. It raises curiosity about whether Eul Pa So can manage the chaos that has arisen due to the king's death.
Queen Woo will be released on August 29. The K-drama will be available to stream on Paramount+.
