Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Kim Se Jeong to possibly join the new drama "The Office Blind Date" that was also offered to Ahn Hyo Seop.
Media outlets reported on May 6th, that Kim Se Jeong will be the female lead for the upcoming web toon based drama "The Office Blind Date".” Her agency Jellyfish Entertainment responded to the circulating news and stated that the idol-actress is currently reviewing the casting offer.
Last March, leading roles for "The Office Blind Date" was first offered to Ahn Hyo Seop and Jo Bo Ah. Both their agencies also stated that their artists are reviewing it.
"The Office Blind Date" will be based from the webtoon of the same name, the story will unfold as the employee who hides her identity and pretended to be her friend ended up becoming her CEO's blind date. It will be helmed by Park Seon Ho well known for his works such as "Wok of Love,” "Suspicious Partner,” “Birth of a Beauty,” and more.
The female lead character named Shin Ha Ri was offered to Kim Se Jeong and Jo Bo Ah. Shin Ha Ri will pretend to be her best friend in exchange of money and will go to the blind date on her behalf. Meanwhile Ahn Hyo Seop received the offer to play the character named Tae Mu, Shin Ha Ri's company CEO.
If Kim Se Jeong accepts the casting offer, this will be her next acting gig after the hit OCN series "The Uncanny Counter.” The idol-actress is also set to star in "Today's Webtoon" and the second season of "The Uncanny Counter 2.” She also recently participated in the 5th anniversary live broadcast reunion of her group I.O.I.
