Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kim Sun Young will be part of the upcoming tvN drama "Ilta Scandal."
On October 11th, it was officially confirmed that Kim Sun Young will be added to the cast of the upcoming drama "Ilta Scandal." She will be working alongside Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, Roh Yoon Seo, Shin Jae Ha, Lee Bong Ryun, and Hwang Bo Ra.
"Ilta Scandal" will depict the romance of a popular private education instructor and a new employee that will enter the company. Despite their different personalities, the two will fall in love.
The upcoming drama will be the third collaboration work of director Yoo Je Won ("Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha") and writer Yang Hee Seung ("Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo"). They both worked together for the series "Oh My Ghost" and "High School King of Savvy." The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon.
Kim Sun Young will play the role of Soo Ah's mother. She is one of the struggling parents that want private education for their children.
"Ilta Scandal" will premiere in the first half of 2023. It will exclusively premiere on tvN.
This will be the first drama of Kim Sun Young for 2023. This year, she starred in the series "Stock Struck" together with Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun, Jang Gwang, Jung Moon Sung, and Lee Joo Won.
Kim Sun Young will also star in the upcoming movies "Dream Palace" and "Concrete Utopia."
The actress is known for being part of the works "Reply 1988," "Three Sisters," "Crash Landing on You," "When the Camellia Blooms," "Kkondae Intern," "Homemade Love Story," "The Silent Sea," "Portrait of a Family," "Malmoe: The Secret Mission," "Her Story," and many more.
