Kim Sung Cheol will possibly added to the star-studded cast of the upcoming K-drama No Way Out.
On October 31, media outlets shared that Kim Sung Cheol will be joining the main leads Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Kwang Soo, Greg Hsu, and Yeom Jung Ah. He will be the second actor to be added to the lineup after Jo Jin Woong.
Kim Sung Cheol's agency Story J Company responded to the casting reports. According to them, Kim Sung Cheol did receive the offer and he is currently considering it.
If Kim Sung Cheol confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama. Kim Sung Cheol is set to replace Yoo Ah In in the Netflix original K-drama Hellbound Season 2. He will work alongside Kim Hyun Joo, Kim Shin Rok, Yang Dong Geun, Yang Ik Jun, and Lee Re.
Kim Sung Cheol last starred in the 2021 K-drama Our Beloved Summer with Choi Woo Shik, Kim Da Mi, Roh Jeong Eui, Ahn Dong Goo, and Park Jin Joo.
The actor will also join the upcoming movie Troll Factory.
Kim Sung Cheol is known for being part of the K-dramas Prison Playbook, Arthdal Chronicles Part 2: The Sky Turning Inside Out, Rising Land, Do You Like Brahms?, Sweet Home, Vincenzo, and more.
No Way Out was supposed to be led by actor Lee Sun Kyun but because of his ongoing drug-related issue, the upcoming K-drama had to postpone filming and add new casts.
According to reports, Kim Sung Cheol got the offer to play the role of the character named Sung Joon Woo. There were no details and descriptions yet about the role that was offered to him.
