Kim Sung Chul is in talks to join the upcoming drama "Us That Year" starring Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi.
On May 7, reports stated that Kim Sung Chul will star alongside Choi Woo Sik and Kim Da Mi for the upcoming Studio N original drama.
"Us That Year" will be a romance comedy drama that will feature the complicated feelings between a man and a woman who were forced to reunite, as the documentary they shot when they were in high school 10 years ago suddenly becomes popular. With this, they were once again summoned to be together in front of the camera.
Last March, "Us That Year" gained attention with the announcement that Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi will work together again. If Kim Sung Chul accepts the casting offer, it will solidify the casting of the drama.
"Us That Year" will be launched in both drama and webtoon format. Aside from the drama airing, the webtoon format will be released on Naver Webtoon. The 16 episodes of the drama will air through Naver Webtoon's subsidiary, Studio N.
The drama will begin its production in the second half of this year.
Kim Sung Chul debuted as a musical actor. He started appearing on television with the 2017's hit drama "Prison Playbook." He also participated in dramas such as "The Wind Blows," "Arthdal Chronicles Part 2: The Sky Turning Inside Out, Rising Land," "Do You Like Brahms?", and "Sweet Home." He also made a special appearance in the recently concluded drama "Vincenzo" to show his support to Song Joong Ki. His scenes in "Vincenzo" became a buzz and gained him more attention.
