Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Ko Sang Ho confirmed to return for Dr. Romantic 3.
It was officially confirmed on March 14 that Ko Sang Ho will be joining the cast of Dr. Romantic Season 3. He is known for being the annoying surgeon who has an inferiority complex to Ahn Hyo Seop's character.
Dr. Romantic Season 3 will continue the journey of a group of doctors led by Kim Sa Bu who is currently assigned to the Doldam Hospital, a shabby clinic in a small neighborhood. There, the stories of the patients, medical staff, and even the doctors will be revealed.
The upcoming season will still be helmed by Yoo In Shik, the same director of popular K-dramas like Vagabond and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The script will be written by Kang Eun Kyung, who also wrote Gu Family Book. The production that handled the first two seasons will still helm this upcoming new season.
Dr. Romantic Season 3 will be led by Han Seok Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Joo Heon, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, and more.
Ko Sang Ho will continue to portray his role named Yang Ho Joon. He was a loyal subordinate of Kim Joo Heon's character Park Min Guk. He is known for belittling doctors Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) and Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung). Many are curious if he will still be against the people of Doldam Hospital or if he will be just like Park Min Guk who has softened his heart to the team.
Dr. Romantic Season 3 will officially air in April. It will be part of the Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot of SBS.
Ko Sang Ho was recently seen making a special appearance in the third and fourth episodes of the ongoing K-drama Taxi Driver Season 2. We will see him again not long after because Dr. Romantic Season 3 will replace Taxi Driver Season 2 timeslot after it concludes.
This will also be the first official K-drama project of Ko Sang Ho for 2023.
Aside from being an actor, Ko Sang Ho is also known for being a musical performer. He has appeared in several musicals such as Midnight: Antlers, Time for Dogs and Cats, Bear the Musical, Natasha, and more.
