Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Actor Kwak Shi Yang confirms his dating status.
On September 20, a media outlet reported that Kwak Shi Yang is currently dating Heart Signal Season 2 and rookie actress Im Hyun Joo.
Kwak Shi Yang's side responded to the dating reports. According to Drawing Entertainment, "It is true that Kwak Shi Yang and Im Hyun Joo are in a romantic relationship. The two met in private through their common acquaintance and gradually became closer. We ask for everyone to look at them with a warm gaze."
Meanwhile, Im Hyun Joo's side hasn't responded to the dating reports.
The two recently shared photos on their personal social media accounts hinting at their relationship. It also seems like the two are not hiding their relationship because they've been liking each other's posts.
Aside from the dating news of Kwak Shi Yang, it was also revealed on the same day that the actor will reportedly be joining the upcoming K-drama Gold Spoon. The upcoming series will be led by Ahn Bo Hyun, Park Ji Hyun, and Kang Sang Jun.
If Kwak Shi Yang confirms his casting, this will be his first K-drama for the year. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming films Three Evil Islands, A Desperate Pursuit, and You Will Die After Six Hours.
Meanwhile, his lover Im Hyun Joo is currently pursuing the acting path after she appeared in Heart Signal Season 2. She last appeared in the 2022 K-drama A Superior Day led by Jin Goo, Ha Do Gwon, Lee Won Keun, Im Hwa Young, Cho Yu Ha, and Han Yi Jin.
Im Hyun Joo was also part of the K-dramas Wish Woosh Season 2, Mr. Lee, and A DeadbEAT's Meal. There are no reports yet on the next project of Im Hyun Joo.
