Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon might work together in a new drama! 

According to drama insiders on June 2nd, Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon were given offers to be the main leads for the upcoming project of writer-director Kim Joo Hwan (Jason Kim) with Netflix. 

Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Hounds" will be an 8-episode series that depicts the story of three men who are entangled by debt and wants to escape from it. Director Kim Joo Hwan who also worked for the film "Midnight Runners" will direct and write for the said series. Netflix, Seed Film, and Studio N will work together to produce the original series. 

Lee Do Hyun's agency Yuehua Entertainment Korea responded to the reports, stating that "Hounds" is one of the several projects that was offered to the actor and he's currently reviewing it. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

H& Entertainment also shared their response for actor Kwak Dong Yeon and revealed that he is also reviewing the offer alongside other projects. 

Lee Do Hyun is the main lead of the ongoing KBS drama "Youth of May" together with Go Min Si. The actor is also set to appear in the upcoming drama "Melancholia" together with Im Soo Jung. Lee Do Hyun became well known after starring in tvN's "Hotel del Luna" and Netflix's "Sweet Home." Since then, he has been active in the drama scene with several lead roles. 

Meanwhile, Kwak Dong Yeon previously acted on the 2021 drama "Vincenzo" with main leads Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Been, and 2PM's Ok Taecyeon. He will also join the upcoming film "6/45" with Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Yi Kyung, Eum Moon Suk, and more.

Netflix's original series "Hounds" is expected to start filming in the second half of the year.
