Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Dong Wook and Ha Do Gwon will confront each other in the upcoming episode of Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938.
On May 19, tvN released teaser clips of the intense confrontation between Lee Dong Wook's character Lee Yeon and Ha Do Gwon's character Kato Ryuhei.
Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 depicts the journey of Lee Yeon as he unexpectedly time-traveled to 1938, wherein he meets Ryu Hong Joo and his younger brother Lee Rang once again.
The ongoing K-drama is led by Lee Dong Wook, Kim So Yeon, Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung Soo, Kim Yong Ji, and Hwang Hee.
It is directed by Kang Shin Hyo and Jo Nam Hyung, and written by Han Woo Ri.
The fifth episode of the Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 will premiere on May 20 at 9:20 PM KST. Global fans can watch the K-drama through the OTT platform, Amazon Prime.
In the newly released still-cut photos, Lee Yeon is seen sensing an extraordinary power from a person who passed by. It was then revealed that the opponent is none other than Kato Ryuhei, a person with great powers from the Governor-General.
He showcased his brutal power by punishing the lower-ranking subordinate Saito Akira played by Im Ji Ho who wasn't able to fulfill his duty.
The Japanese goblin Kato Ryuhei who turned into a human being was also seen surprised by the power of Lee Yeon. Soon, the two pointed knives at each other signaling crisis in the upcoming episode.
The upcoming episode will showcase the fierce war between Korean and Japanese goblins. According to the production team, "Lee Yeon and Kato Ryuhei felt that they are each other's tough opponents just by brushing against each other. You can see another scene of Lee Yeon overcoming another crisis once again."
The fifth episode of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama "Nine Tailed 1938" will air at 9:20 p.m. tomorrow (20th, Saturday).
