Lee Hye Ri and Park Se Wan's Cheerleading-Themed K-Movie "Victory" Wraps Up Filming

On July 4th, production company Anna Purna Films announced the completion of filming for Victory. The movie tells the story of Pil Sun (Lee Hye Ri) and Mi Na (Park Se Wan), who started the cheerleading club Millennium Girls in a school located in Geoje, the southern tip of the country, in 1999. Park Bum Soo took the director's chair for this film.Victory aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the late 90s through the captivating performances of Millennium Girls. 

Lee Hye Ri takes on the role of Pil Sun, a high school student who stumbles upon cheerleading by chance. The actress comments, "I believe Victory will be a remarkable movie that beautifully merges the sentiment of the late 90s with the breathtaking scenery of Geoje. I am particularly excited about the cheerleading scenes we diligently filmed. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the members of Millennium Girls, the entire cast, and the dedicated staff who contributed to crafting this amazing production".Park Se Wan portrays Mi Na, Pil Sun's best friend. She comments, "I was drawn to this project purely by the heartwarming ambiance as hinted in the script. Playing Mina was a genuinely heartwarming experience. Despite being unfamiliar with cheerleading initially, I worked hard alongside my fellow actors for several months, aided by an exceptional team of professionals who provided unwavering support until the very end. I am truly grateful to everyone involved. Thanks to the love and dedication poured into this project, on the final day of filming, I was able to bid a happy farewell to Mi Na. I will hold dear the beautiful memories made during Victory. It was a truly joyous and gratifying experience, and I am deeply in love with Victory! I eagerly anticipate its release".

In addition to Lee Hye Ri and Park Se Wan, a talented ensemble of emerging actors, including Jo Aram, Choi Ji Su, Baek Hai, Kwon Yoo Na, Yeom Ji Young, Lee Han Ju, and Park Hyo Eun will also be seen in the movie as Millennium Girls.
