Idol-actor Lee Jin Hyuk to join the cast of the upcoming SBS drama "Why Oh Soo Jae?"

It was announced on October 20th that Lee Jin Hyuk will be added to the cast of the SBS drama. He will join Seo Hyun Jin, Hwang In Yeop, Bae In Hyuk, Heo Joon Ho, Lee Kyu Sung, and more. The drama will be helmed by Park Soo Jin ("While You Were Sleeping") and written by Kim Ji Eun (Lie After Lie).

"Why Oh Soo Jae?" will revolve around Oh Soo Jae, a cruel lawyer and professor who's living a successful life but is empty inside, and Gong Chan, a law school student who will do anything to protect Oh Soo Jae.

Seo Hyun Jin will play the role of Oh Soo Jae, the bad-tempered lawyer, and professor. Hwang In Yeop will play the role of Gong Chan, a freshman at Seojoong University’s law school. Lee Jin Hyuk will play as Nam Chun Bong, a bring young man who quit his idol trainee life and opened a PC room with his friends. After quitting the trainee life, he started studying and became a student at Seojung University Law School. 

"Why Oh Soo Jae?" is set to air in 2022 and it will exclusively be available on SBS. 

Lee Jin Hyuk is currently active as a singer and an actor. Last October 18, the idol released his new album "Ctrl+V." He also participated in several programs to promote his new song. 

The idol-actor made his debut in acting in 2020 with the drama "Find Me in Your Memory." He worked with Kim Dong WookMoon Ga YoungKim Seul GiYoon Jong Hoon, Jang Young Nam, and more. He was also part of the dramas "Hanging On" and "Check Out the Event." Lee Jin Hyuk is also part of the cast of the drama "Dear.M" which hasn't aired due to controversies.
