Lee Kyung Young will be the newest addition to the cast of the much-anticipated new season of "Dr. Romantic."
Media outlet OSEN revealed on January 3rd that Lee Kyung Young will be the newest villain of the upcoming series "Dr. Romantic Season 3."
Lee Kyung Young and Han Seok Kyu will reunite for the upcoming SBS medical K-drama "Dr.Romantic Season 3." The two have worked previously in the 2017 film "The Prison."
In the first two seasons of the K-drama, actor Choi Jin Ho was the main villain and Han Seok Kyu's greatest enemy. For the upcoming third season, Lee Kyung Young will be the newest character that will be against Kim Sa Bu.
"Dr. Romantic Season 3" will continue to tell the stories and happenings at the shabby local hospital called Doldam Hospital. There, Kim Sa Bu and his team do their best to save lives and fulfill their duties as medical practitioners.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Yoo In Shik and written by Kang Eun Kyung.
"Dr, Romantic" first aired in 2016 and easily became one of the most popular medical K-dramas. The second season also became a hit in 2020.
The upcoming "Dr. Romantic Season 3" will be led by Han Seok Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Joo Heon, Jin Kyung, Yoon Na Moo, and more.
"Dr. Romantic Season 3" will premiere in the first half of 2023 and it will exclusively be available on SBS.
Lee Kyung Young is one of the actors that star in several works every year. For 2023, aside from "Dr. Romantic Season 3," the actor will also join the upcoming K-drama "Queen Maker."
