Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Seol will reportedly be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama The Love Story of Choon Hwa.
On June 27, various media outlets reported that Lee Seol will be joining Go Ah Sung and Chang Ryul in the upcoming K-drama The Love Story of Choon Hwa.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will showcase the life and journey of Hwa Ri in finding her future husband. The young princess will go out of the palace to meet her suitors. She will also look for the person who used her face as the character of erotic paintings.
The upcoming K-drama will be the latest work of director Lee Kwang Young (Call It Love) and writer Seo Eun Jung (Salamander Guru and the Gang). IT will be produced by Beyond J, SLL.
Go Ah Sung will give life to the role of Princess Hwa Ri. She is the youngest princess of the royal family who is seeking her future husband.
Chang Ryul will play the role of Choi Hwan. He is the topmost on the list of potential husbands for Princess Hwa Ri. He is known for being handsome and the richest merchant.
Meanwhile, Lee Seol will reportedly play the role of a crown princess named Se Ja Bin. She is the granddaughter of Yeonguijeong. She got married at the young age of eight.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will premiere in 2024 through the OTT platform, TVING.
If Lee Seol confirms her casting, this will be her first K-drama for 2024.
This year, Lee Seol is booked and busy with several K-drama and movie projects. The actress is set to return to Netflix's D.P. Season 2. She will also join the cast of the upcoming K-drama A Man and a Woman.
Lee Seol will also participate in the upcoming films A Tour Guide and On the Sand House.
