Kim Jung Young confirmed to appear in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon"
Lee Seung Gi will reportedly return to romance dramas with "Love According to Law."
On January 24th, it was reported that Lee Seung Gi will be the main lead of the upcoming KBS drama "Love According to Law."
Lee Seung Gi's agency Hook Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that the actor is positively considering the offer to lead the drama but nothing is confirmed yet.
"Love According to Law" will be based on a webtoon with the same name by writer No Seung Ah and illustrator Il Ri. It will tell the healing romance of a former prosecutor who is also known as "Monster Genius" and a lawyer who was a former Miss Korea. The upcoming drama will be released this August.
There are no other details yet about the other casts of the upcoming drama "Love According to Law."
If Lee Seung Gi accepts the casting offer, this will be his second upcoming series. The actor is set to star in the upcoming drama "Super Note: The Heyday of the Villains" with Kwak Do Won and Lee Bum Soo. He last starred in the award-winning drama "Mouse." He worked with Lee Hee Joon, Park Joo Hyun, Kyung Soo Jin, Woo Ji Hyun, and Ahn Jae Wook.
It's been years since Lee Seung Gi starred in a romance drama. For several years, the actor has been in action, thriller, and mystery dramas.
Aside from acting, the actor is also starring in the variety programs "Master in the House" and "Sing Again 2."
Lee Seung Gi was also part of the dramas "Vagabond," "A Korean Odyssey," "You're All Surrounded," "Gu Family Book," "King2Hearts," "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho," "Shining Inheritance," and more.
The actor made his acting debut in 2004.
