Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Sun Bin will be the main lead in the upcoming tvN K-drama Potato Research Center.
On March 19, media outlet Star News shared an exclusive report revealing that Lee Sun Bin has been picked to work alongside Kang Tae Oh in the new tvN upcoming K-drama Potato Research Center.
This will be the third upcoming K-drama of Lee Sun Bin.
The actress is also expected to join the upcoming K-dramas Mission 2: Possible and Super Couple.
Last year, Lee Sun Bin led the Coupang Play original K-drama Boyhood with ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Kang Hye Won, Lee Shi Woo, Kim Yun Bae, and Kim Jung Jin. She also made a cameo appearance in the K-drama The Heavenly Idol.
Aside from K-dramas, Lee Sun Bin will also join the upcoming films Noise, Sumbi Sori, and CSAT: Secret of Exam Questions.
Lee Sun Bin is known for being part of the works Mission 1: Possible, Rampant, 38 Task Force, Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation, Work Later, Drink Now, and more.
Potato Research Center will tell the romance that will bloom at a research center located in a mountain valley.
Lee Sun Bin will portray the role of Kim Mi Kyung. She has been a potato researcher for 12 years and works at the Potato Research Institute. She seems like a long-term unemployed in the neighborhood but only speaks about biological terms when she opens her mouth.
Kang Tae Oh on the other hand will portray the role of So Baek Ho. He is the new director of the Potato Research Institute. He is also working on a secret project.
The new K-drama will be the next project of director Kang Il Soo and writer Kim Ho Soo. The two have previously worked in the 2019 historical K-drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.
Potato Research Center will reportedly premiere in 2025 and it will exclusively air on tvN.
