The first poster and teaser for the upcoming series A Bloody Lucky Day have been unveiled.
The TVING original series A Bloody Lucky Day narrates the story of Oh Taek (played by Reborn Rich actor Lee Sung Min), an ordinary taxi driver who unwittingly embarks on a harrowing journey when he picks up a passenger Geum Hyuk Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok) offering a substantial sum for a mysterious destination, only to realize that the passenger is a serial killer. The series is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name.
The first poster and teaser trailer serve to intensify curiosity. In the poster, attention is immediately drawn to a solitary taxi stationed on a dimly lit road. What amplifies the sense of unease is the red emergency light flashing atop it. The text reads, "I picked up a killer". The reflection of Oh Taek's fear-stricken gaze in the side mirror, the sinister grin of Geum Hyuk Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok), and the menacing glare of Hwang Soon Kyu (Lee Jung Eun) evoke suspense.
The concurrently released first teaser captures Oh Taek's transition from a day filled with dreams, driven by the promise of good fortune, to an ill-fated lucky day. Taxi driver Oh Taek, having dreamt of a pig (a sign of good fortune) and bought a lottery ticket on a day with perfect weather, enthusiastically agrees to take a long-distance passenger, Geum Hyuk Soo, who enticed him, saying, "Would you like to go to Mukpo with me? I'll pay you more". However, this soon turns into a nightmare when Geum Hyuk Soo reveals his sinister intentions with a smile, saying, "Killing people isn't that difficult", sending chills down Oh Taek's spine.
From taxi driver Oh Taek firmly gripping the steering wheel to the serial killer Geum Hyuk Soo, who holds his life hostage, and Hwang Soon Kyu hot on their heels, the mounting tension of this perilous journey promises to keep everyone on the edge of their seats, leaving the question whether Oh Taek will reach his distant destination unscathed.
In the series, Lee Sung Min plays Oh Taek, a taxi driver who dreams of a pig, and receives a lucrative offer of a mysterious journey for one million won. Known for his exceptional acting skills, Lee Sung Min portrays Oh Taek's inner turmoil as he navigates a shattered everyday life and the looming threat by picking up a serial killer as a passenger. Yoo Yeon Seok takes on the role of Geum Hyuk Soo, a serial killer determined to cover up his murders. His intense transformation into a ruthless villain adds an intriguing dimension to the story. Lee Jung Eun plays Hwang Soon Kyu, a woman relentlessly pursuing the murderer of her son. Her unwavering determination and lonely fight to catch Geum Hyuk Soo add to the suspense of the series.
