Lee Yo Won is currently in talks to be the main lead for upcoming drama "Green Mothers Club"

Media outlets reported on April 28 that the top actress will be returning with a new drama project and her agency Management Koo relayed their statement through Newsen. They stated that Lee Yo Won received offers to join and be the main lead of the upcoming drama and she is positively reviewing it. Director Ra Ha Na and Shin Lee Won will work together for the upcoming drama. 

Representative of the production of drama "Green Mothers Club" shared that they proposed the drama to actress Lee Ye Won and the exact airing date and other details are not yet finalized. 

"Green Mothers Club" will narrate the story of each of the five mothers who's dealing with their complex.

Lee Yo Won debuted in dramas in 1999. She is part of KBS' school series "School 2" with Kim Rae Won, Ki Tae Young, and more. She is best known for being the main lead for "Queen Seon Deok.” The actress also appeared in dramas such as "49 Days" with Nam Gyu Ri, Jung Il Woo, and Jo Hyun Jae, "Avengers Social Club" with Ra Mi Ran and Myung Se Bin, "Different Dreams" with Yoo Ji Tae, Im Joo Hwan, Nam Gyu Ri, and more. She last starred in the 2019 drama "The Running Mates: Human Rights" with Choi Gwi Hwa, Jang Hyun Sung, Oh Mi Hee, Lee Joo Woo, and more.

If Lee Yo Won accepts the casting offer for "Green Mothers Club,” this will be her return to the small screen since 2019.

Aside from Lee Yo Won receiving the casting offer, no other details like broadcast network, other casts, and more have been revealed for upcoming drama "Green Mothers Club".
