"Lovely Runner" Star Kim Hye Yoon Receives Offer to Play Gumiho in New Fantasy K-Drama

Kim Hye Yoon receives a casting offer to play a gumiho (a nine-tailed fox in East-Asian folktales) Korean in I'm Human from Today (literal title). 

On August 16, her agency Artist Company stated to Top Star News, "Kim Hye Yoon has received an offer to appear in I'm Human from Today and is positively considering it."

I'm Human from Today tells the story of a peculiar gumiho — who, unlike the typical ones, avoids becoming human at all costs to enjoy all the fun things life has to offer — and a narcissistic soccer star who crosses paths with her. 

Kim Hye Yoon has been offered the role of Eun Ho, a rich MZ gumiho who enjoys her unchanging youth and beauty, never matures, takes no responsibility for anything, and only enjoys the fun parts of the human world like a game.

It was previously reported that actress Shin Sae Kyeong was under consideration for the same role.

The role of the narcissistic soccer star, Kang Si Yeol, has been offered to actor Lomon, who is also reviewing it. Following her role in Lovely Runner, actress Kim Hye Yoon shot to global fame, which led her to hold fan meetings titled Hye-ppiness in Seoul and Japan. She is next scheduled to meet fans in Taiwan on August 24.
