Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Moon Ga Young will reportedly be the female lead of the upcoming JTBC drama "Understanding of Love."
On March 22nd media outlets reported that Moon Ga Young has been chosen to be the female lead of Yoo Yeon Seok in the upcoming series "Understanding of Love."
Moon Ga Young's agency Keyeast Entertainment responded to the reports and revealed that the actress is positively reviewing the offer to star in the upcoming JTBC drama. Just like Moon Ga Young, Yoo Yeon Seok's agency also stated that the actor is currently reviewing the casting offer.
"Understanding of Love" will base its story on the novel of the same name by Lee Hyukjin. The drama will narrate the romance between Ha Sang Soo, Ahn Soo Young, Park Mi Kyung, and Jung Jong Hyun who are co-workers at the Yeongpo branch of Nara Bank which is celebrating its 99th anniversary.
The upcoming drama will be helmed by director Lee Hyun Jung and Jo Young Min ("Do You Like Brahms?") and writer Lee Seo Hyun.
Moon Ga Young got the offer to play the role of Ahn Soo Young, the fourth-year teller at the Yeongpo branch of Nara Bank.
Moon Ga Young last starred in the 2020 hit drama "True Beauty" with ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Hwang In Yeop, Park Yoo Na, Jang Hye Jin, and Park Ho San. The actress will also lead the upcoming drama "Link: Eat, Love, Die" with Yeo Jin Goo, Song Deok Ho, Kim Ji Young, Lee Bom Sori, and Lee Suk Hyeong.
The actress is known for being part of the dramas "Find Me in Your Memory," "Eulachacha Waikiki 2," "Tempted," "Live Up to Your Name," "Jealousy Incarnate," "Delicious Love," "The Merchant: Gaekju 2015," "Heartstrings," and more.
