Moon Sung Hyun is set to star in his fourth drama for the year.

On August 30th, it was confirmed that Moon Sung Hyun will be part of the upcoming tvN historical drama "Umbrella." His agency FNC Entertainment confirmed the reports.

"Umbrella" will be about the queen and her troublemaker sons who are the headache of the royal family. The queen will do her best to make her sons into decent crown princes.

The drama will be helmed by Kim Hyung Shik ("Twenty Again," "Secret Door," and "The Suspicious Housekeeper") and the script will be written by Park Bara.

"Umbrella" will be led by  Kim Hye Soo, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, SF9's Chani, Ok Ja Yeon, Kim Ga Eun, Yoo Sun Ho, and more.

Moon Sung Hyun will play the role of Shim So Gun, the eldest son of Woo Jung Won's character Go Gwi In. Shim So Gum is smart and clever but despite that, he still falls short of the expectation of his mother. Anticipation arises about how his and his mother's character will affect the queen and the crown princes.

"Umbrella" will air on tvN this coming October.

Moon Sung Hyun made his acting debut in 2021. He is an actor signed under FNC Entertainment.

He starred in the dramas "Hello, Me!," "Vincenzo," "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "The One and Only," and more.

In 2022, the actor has already appeared in three dramas. He was part of the cast of the series "The King of Pigs" and he made a special appearance in the dramas "Sh**ting Stars" and "Alchemy of Souls."

Moon Sung Hyun also starred in tvN's special drama "tvN O'PENing: Stock of High School" together with Lee Re, Kim Si Eun, Kim Rachel Yoory, Choi Young Woo, and more.
