The teaser for tvN's upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama My Dearest Nemesis has been released.
tvN's My Dearest Nemesis has confirmed its premiere date for February 17. The story follows Baek Soo Jung (Mun Ka Young), the team leader of a planning team at Yongseong Department Store haunted by her embarrassing past, and Ban Ju Yeon (Choi Hyun Wook), a third-generation chaebol working as the director of Strategic Planning at Yongseong Department Store who hides his alter ego "Black Dragon" to get recognized as the conglomerate's heir. The duo previously met each other as video game characters during their school years. Sixteen years later, they reunite, this time as a boss and employee.
The stellar cast, featuring Mun Ka Young, Choi Hyun Wook, Im Se Mi, and Kwak Shi Yang, has already drawn buzz to this drama.
The teaser begins with Ban Ju Yeon holding up a "Black Dragon" toy and boldly declaring, "I am the Black Dragon. I awaken!" This side of him, as a fanboy of comics and games, humorously contrasts with his professional persona.
Team leader Baek Soo Jung happens to witness Ban Ju Yeon's alter ego as she came carrying documents for approval. Sensing she has found his weak spot, Baek Soo Jung flashes a sly and mischievous smile, saying, "I'll turn a blind eye to your secret, Director." Ban Ju Yeon, realizing his secret has been exposed, swallows nervously, and appears flustered.
The teaser then shows Ban Ju Yeon hastily hiding the "Black Dragon" toy while bickering with Baek Soo Jung, evoking laughter.
