Park Kang Hyun will be the second lead of the upcoming KBS K-drama My Heart Is Beating.
On February 20, it was officially confirmed by his agency Lighthouse that the musical actor will officially be making his K-drama debut through the series My Heart Is Beating.
Actor Park Kang Hyun also shared his thoughts on his first-ever K-drama project. The actor stated, "I'm going to show a new side of me as an amazing character so I'm asking for your attention and support."
Park Kang Hyun started his musical career back in 2015. He is known for being part of the musicals such as Hadestown, The Man Who Laughs, Kinky Boots, and more. Back in 2021, he also appeared in the variety program Phantom Singer: All Stars as a contestant and won second place with his group Miraclass.
After eight years, Park Kang Hyun will now venture into the K-drama land. Many are already anticipating his performance in the upcoming K-drama.
My Heart Is Beating will revolve around the romance between a half-human and half-vampire and an out-of-this-world beautiful woman who has no humane side. The two will end up living together.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of directors Lee Hyun Suk and Lee Min Soo and writers KIm Ha Na and Jung Seung Joo.
It will be led by 2 PM's Ok Taecyeon, Won Ji An, and Yoon So Hee.
Park Kang Hyun will play the second lead role named Shin Do Shik. He is a sweet and warm real estate development expert.
Ok Taecyeon will play the role of Seon Woo Hyul, he failed to become human due to a one-day difference in his 100 years of effort. Meanwhile, Won Ji An will play the role of Joo In Ha, the beautiful woman who lacks humanity. After meeting Seon Woo Hyul, she will find true warmth.
