Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri will possibly be the main leads for a new tvN drama.
According to reports on March 26, upcoming tvN drama "Twenty Five Twenty One" will have a star studded cast. Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri both got the offer to be the main leads.
Nam Joo Hyuk's agency SOOP shared that their artist is currently reviewing the offer to star in "Twenty Five Twenty One".
"Twenty Five Twenty One" will be directed and written by "Search WWW" PD, Jung Ji Hyun and scriptwriter Kwon Do Eun.
The drama will showcase the growing friendship and romance of a man and woman throughout 1998 to 2021.
If Nam Joo Hyuk confirmed his casting, he will play the role of Baek Yi Jin, a UBS sports reporter. There's Asian Games at that time and Baek Yi Jin will meet the gold medalist Na Hee Do, the character offered to Kim Tae Ri. Na Hee Do is a fencing prodigy. She became a member of the national team in high school.
In 2021, Nam Joo Hyuk will be part of the drama "Here" with Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, and more. He will also participate in the movie "Remember" together with Lee Sung Min, Park Min I, Jung Man Shik, and more.
If Kim Tae Ri accepts the offer to star in "Twenty Five Twenty One" this will be her comeback drama since 2018. She last starred in the popular drama "Mr.Sunshine" with Lee Byung Hun. She is also one of the casts of the 2021 movie "Space Sweepers" with Song Joong Ki and the upcoming movie "Alien".
"Twenty Five Twenty One" is expected to air in the second half of the year.
