"Narco-Saints" unveiled a new teaser clip and also confirmed the premiere date of the series.

On August 18th, Netflix released another teaser video of "Narco-Saints." It was revealed that the upcoming original series will be available worldwide on September 9th. 

"Narco-Saints" will tell the story of a Korean drug king in Suriname in South America and a civilian who gets involved in a secret operation by the NIS. 

The series is written and directed by Yoon Jong Bin ("The Spy Gone North" and "Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time").

"Narco-Saints" will be led by Ha Jung Woo, Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, Choo Ja Hyun, and more.

The upcoming series will be exclusively available on Netflix worldwide starting on September 9.

Hwang Jung Min will play the role of the drug godfather named Jeon Yo Hwan. He works as a priest to spread the word in the bible and he is also the drug king at Suriname. 

Ha Jung Woo will play the role of Kang In Gu, a civilian businessman who will work alongside NIS' secret operation. He joined forces with the NIS to make a lot of money. 

Park Hae Soo will play the role of Choi Chang Ho, a NIS agent who will disguise himself as an international trader. 

Jo Woo Jin will play the role of Byeon Ki Tae, the right-hand man of the drug godfather. Another partner in the crime of the godfather is David Park played by Yoo Yeon Seok. He is a lawyer who protects and advises the godfather such as fund management, distribution, and more. 

Chang Chen will be making a special appearance in the drama. He will play the role of Chen Jin, the head of a notorious Chinese organization in Suriname.
