[New] Introducing 'Verified' Accounts

Hi MDL'ers,

We're excited to announce our latest 'feature' today - Verified Accounts.

What is it? Users will now be able to verify their account through our SMS verification system.  Verified users will have a check mark [as pictured below] show up next to their username.

 This feature is an additional tool used to safeguard against potential abuse on the platform.  We will also be giving verified users more abilities as we release planned features in 2020. 

Note: Besides the initial text message to send you a verification code, we will not text you for any reason.  

This is a completely optional feature.
