Oh Jung Se will be the new addition to the cast of the upcoming Netflix original series "Sweet Home 2"
On January 11th, several media outlets stated that Oh Jung Se will join the second season of "Sweet Home."
Oh Jung Se's agency Prain TPC told the public that nothing has been decided yet on the participation of the actor in the upcoming Netflix drama.
If Oh Jung Se accepts the offer, this will be his first-ever Netflix original series.
The first season of "Sweet Home" aired in 2020 and it easily became a hit both in Korea and International viewers. The second season of the drama is in the works and it will be directed by Lee Eung Bok once again. Other casts that will reportedly return to the new season are Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, and Park Gyu Young.
"Sweet Home 2" is adapted from the webtoon of the same name. The second season will continue the journey of Cha Hyun Soo.
The upcoming second season of "Sweet Home" will reportedly air this year and it will still be exclusively available on Netflix.
Oh Jung Se is currently starring in the high rating TV Chosun drama "Uncle" with Jeon Hye Jin, Lee Kyung Hoon, Park Sun Young, Lee Sang Woo, and Lee Shi Won. He will also join the upcoming drama "The Good Detective 2."
The actor will also be in the upcoming movies such as "High Five" and "The Christmas Gift".
Oh Jung Se has starred in several high rating dramas such as "Jirisan," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", "Hot Stove League", "When the Camellia Blooms", "Misaeng: Incomplete Life," and more.
