Choi Kwang Il joins Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin in a new K-drama
Another confirmed K-drama for Oh Ye Ju!
On October 7, it was officially confirmed that rising actress Oh Ye Ju will also star in the upcoming tvN K-drama Love on a Single Log Bridge. Just last week, it was also revealed that the actress will be part of the cast of the upcoming Disney+ original K-drama Gangnam B-Side.
Love on a Single Log Bridge will tell the story of two Ji Wons who will reunite after 18 years. The two were born on the same day with the same name and their families have been enemies for generations. 18 years later, the two will reunite as colleagues in Dokmok High School.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Ju Ji Hoon, Jung Yu Mi, Lee Shi Woo, Kim Jung Young, Kim Gab Soo, and more.
Oh Ye Ju will portray the role of the younger version of Yoon Ji Won, Jung Yu Mi's character in the series. She will give life to Yoon Ji Won in her teenage years. She will showcase the innocence and passionate emotions of an 18-year-old girl.
Director Park Joon Hwa (Alchemy of Souls, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Because This Is My First Life) and writer Im Ye Jin (The Tale of Nokdu, Love in the Moonlight, and Who Are You: School 2015) will work together to create the new romance series.
Love on a Single Log Bridge will air this coming November exclusively on tvN.
This will be the third K-drama of Oh Ye Ju for 2024. She recently made a special appearance in the tvN K-drama No Gain, No Love as the teenage version of actress Shin Min Ah.
Last week, it was also announced that Oh Ye Ju will be Jo Woo Jin's daughter in the soon-to-air series Gangnam B-Side. The K-drama will premiere on November 6.
Early this year, Oh Ye Ju has officially starred in a movie. She was part of the film Troll Factory led by Son Suk Ku, Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Dong Hwi, Hong Kyung, Lee Seon Hee, and Kim Hee Won.
Oh Ye Ju started her acting career in 2021 through the series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. She also portrayed the role of the younger Shin Min Ah's character in the K-drama.
The actress is known for being part of the series The Matchmakers, Under the Queen's Umbrella, From Now On, Showtime!, and more.
