Park Bo Gum will reportedly lead a new K-drama about the police.

On July 14th, media outlets reported that Park Bo Gum will be working with director Shim Na Yeon (The Good Bad Mother and Beyond Evil) and writer Lee Dae II (Life on Mars and Chief of Staff) for a new K-drama titled Good Boy

Park Bo Gum's current agency The Black Label responded to the casting reports. According to them, Park Bo Gum did receive the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama and he is currently reviewing it. 

Good Boy will tell the story of medalists in international competitions who became police with Olympic special recruitment. Instead of medals on their necks are police IDs as they face a world full of immoral and foul people. 

The upcoming K-drama will showcase athletes from unpopular sports gathering together with their reasons to form the "Olympic Avengers." They will be a special team that will be dedicated to violent crimes and cases filled with injustices by utilizing their skills as a player. 

Park Bo Gum got the offer to play the role of Yoon Dong Joo. He is a former boxer and currently works as a member of a strong team at the police station. 

There are no official details yet on the broadcast channel and release date of the upcoming K-drama.

This will possibly be the second upcoming K-drama of Park Bo Gum. The actor is set to make his grand return to K-dramas with You Have Done Well. He will be working with IU, Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon, Na Moon Hee, and Choi Dae Hoon

Park Bo Gum will also star in the upcoming film Wonderland with miss A's Bae Suzy, Choi Woo Shik, Jung Yu Mi, Tang Wei, and Nina Paw. The upcoming film is set to premiere within the year. 

It was also recently revealed that Park Bo Gum will be making his official musical debut this year with Let Me Fly.
