Oh Eui Shik joins Lee Min Ki's new action thriller K-drama
Park Ha Sun is in talks to be the female lead of the upcoming blockbuster MBC drama "The Black Sun".
On February 2, Park Ha Sun's agency KeyEast shared, "The actress received a casting offer for the drama and she is positively considering it".
"The Black Sun" is a 12 episode drama with reportedFeeds 15 billion Korean won (approximately $13.7 million US dollars) budget that will air on MBC.
Actor Namgoong Min already confirmed that he will be in the upcoming drama. He will play the role of Han Ji Hyuk, a top field agent in the National Intelligence Service (NIS).
Meanwhile, Park Ha Sun was offered the role of Seo Soo Yeon. She's the head of team 4 of the Crime Information Center and also considered the ace of the team with her excellent record in solving cases. She's also very affectionate and caring to her co-workers.
"The Black Sun" is about a top agent in National Intelligence Service who's gone missing for a year. He then joins a crime syndicate to uncover the traitor responsible for his downfall. Many are already looking forward to "The Black Sun" with its high budget and Nam Goongmin's trustworthy choices when it comes to quality dramas.
Aside from this drama, Park Ha Sun will also appear on the upcoming tvN's one-act play "Drama Stage Season 4: The Road to Obstetrics and Gynecology" set to air in March. Other works of the actress includes "No, Thank You", "Birthcare Center", "Drinking Solo" and more.
MBC's "The Black Sun" is set to air in August 2021. It will be directed by Kim Sung Yong and written by Park Seok Ho.
