The upcoming SBS drama The Killing Vote follows the gripping story of an anonymous "Dog Mask" who conducts a nationwide poll on death penalties for heinous criminals.

The drama boasts a stellar cast, including Park Hae Jin (Kim Moo Chan), Park Sung Woong (Kwon Seok Joo), and Im Ji Yeon (Joo Hyun).

Anticipation is particularly high for the reunion of Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong after six years. The two actors previously showcased fantastic chemistry in the 2017 drama Man to Man. The duo now come to share the screen in the upcoming thriller The Killing Vote.

Park Hae Jin takes on the role of Kim Moo Chan, the Head of Team 1 of the Southern Provincial  Police Department's regional investigation unit.

Kim Moo Chan is known for his exceptional skills in taking over cases, even when they seem unsolvable. By taking on the role of Moo Chan, actor Park Hae Jin sheds his smart and sophisticated image, as portrayed in his previous dramas, to immerse himself in the rough and bold character of a detective.

Park Sung Woong portrays Kwon Seok Joo, a man who kills the perpetrator responsible for sexually assaulting his 8-year-old daughter and subsequently turns himself in, serving a long sentence in prison.

Park Sung Woong, known for his passionate performances, brings depth to the character.

Kim Moo Chan and Kwon Seok Joo, positioned on opposite sides as a police officer and a prisoner, respectively, become entangled through a particular incident. With their remarkable acting skills, the two actors are expected to deliver exceptional chemistry and elevate the tension within the story.

The production team of the K-drama stated, "The reunion of Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong alone is like a treasure. When the two actors shoot scenes together, they passionately discuss and collaborate on their characters and scenes. Their synergy and dedication shine through, leaving the production team amazed and in awe".

They further added, "Despite their strong friendship off-screen, their on-screen confrontation showcases their extraordinary acting abilities. We request the viewers' attention and anticipation for the exceptional performances of these two actors".

The Killing Vote will premiere on August 10. The first two episodes will be aired in the premiere week, followed by a weekly release of one episode.
