"Happiness" starring Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo Woo Jin held its script reading and announces the release month of the drama.
On September 17th upcoming tvN drama "Happiness" released photos from their first script reading. The drama will be directed by Ahn Gil Ho ("Record of Youth" and "Stranger") and written by Han Sang Woon ("The Good Wife"). It will also be added to the list of dramas produced by Studio Dragon.
"Happiness" is an urban thriller that showcases the time where infectious diseases are prevalent. The drama will revolve around the people who are isolated in an apartment with a mini version of a hierarchical society. As a new infectious disease emerge, the struggle for survival will be highlighted. The upcoming drama will be led by Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo Woo Jin.
For the script reading, the main leads Park Hyung Sik, Han Hyo Joo, and Jo Woo Jin, together with other cast members Lee Joon Hyuk, Park Joo Hee, Baek Hyun Jin, Park Hyung Soo, Bae Hae Seon, and Cha Soon Bae attended.
Han Hyo Joo will play the role of Yoon Sae Bom. She's bold and skillful in resolving crises. Park Hyung Sik will play Jung Yi Hyun, an honest and clever detective with a strong sense of duty from the violent crimes division. Meanwhile, Jo Woo Jin will play the role of Han Tae Seok. He is part of the Armed Forces Medical Command who holds the key to the epidemic.
The production team of "Happiness" shared that the drama will reveal the human desires and discrimination between social classes in an apartment where people with different personalities and desires live together. The drama will portray the realistic horror of the current state.
"Happiness" is set to air in November. It will be both available on tvN and OTT platform, TVING.
