"Queen of Tears" Moon Tae Yu announces marriage plans

Actor Moon Tae Yu who appeared in the hit tvN K-drama Queen of Tears is getting married!

On July 29, Moon Tae Yu announced his marriage plans through his official fan cafe. The actor revealed that he finally found someone he will spend the rest of his life and they are tying the knot on October 9th of this year.

Aside from his marriage announcement, the actor reassured fans that he will continue to work hard and repay them with good work. He also promised to show better acting and singing in his future works.

Moon Tae Yu is active in both musicals and K-dramas. He recently appeared in Queen of Tears as Attorney Kim Yang Gi, the best friend of Kim Soo Hyun's character Baek Hyun Woo. 

He is also known for being part of the K-dramas Celebrity, The Interest of Love, Forecasting Love and Weather, Hospital Playlist, and more.

I have great news.

I am getting married on October 9 because I have met a friend who will love and rely on me for the rest of my life.

Although she is doing something different from my work, she protected me who is full of anxiousness and sensitivity with great understanding. Because of this, she made me want to be a better person. 

I really wanted to tell this good news to you, especially to the people who gathered here in the fan cafe to show me support.

I always wonder if I’m cut out for acting. You gave me the strength to face my fears. I’ve always pictured this moment, telling you the news of my marriage. Now it’s real, and I'm a mix of nerves and excitement.

I will also ask for your understanding as I can't give more details about this marriage.

I will continue to work hard and repay your support with good work. I have received the love and support that I can't repay for the rest of my life but I will try my best to show you better acting and singing until the end.

As I have something big happening in my life, I felt once again how precious you guys are to
