Rain and Kim Ha Neul will reportedly work together for the upcoming K-drama "She" (literal translation).
On December 26th, media outlets shared that Rain and Kim Ha Neul will be the main leads of the upcoming Disney+ K-drama "She."
Rain's agency Rain Company responded to the casting reports. According to them, the singer-actor is currently reviewing the drama. They also reiterated that nothing has been decided yet.
Same with Kim Ha Neul, her agency IOK Company also responded to the reports. The agency revealed that Kim Ha Neul did receive the offer and she is currently reviewing it.
"She" will tell the story of a woman perfect for marriage and will become complete after finding a new love.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of director Park Hong Kyun ("A Korean Odyssey," "The Greatest Love," and "Queen Seon Duk") and writer Choi Yoon Jung ("Only Love," "Emergency Couple," and "Love and Sympathy").
Rain got the offer to play the role of Seo Do Yoon, a bodyguard. Kim Ha Neul got the offer to play the role of Oh Wan Su, a fund raiser who exudes all the aspects a woman should have for marriage.
"She" will be added to the upcoming K-dramas that will exclusively premiere on Disney+.
If Rain confirms his casting, this will his first upcoming K-drama for 2023. This year, the actor became busy with the series "Ghost Doctor" and made a special appearance in the K-dramas "Under the Queen's Umbrella" and "Take 1."
Meanwhile, this will also be the next K-drama of Kim Ha Neul after the 2022 "Kill Heel." The actress is known for being the main lead of the k-dramas "18 Again," "On The Way To The Airport," "A Gentleman's Dignity," "Stained Glass," and more.
