Rising actress Han Ji Won confirms her first official K-drama for the year.

On September 9, Han Ji Won's agency HighZium Studio confirmed that the actress will be included in the cast of the upcoming Disney+ original K-drama Seoul Busters

This will be the first official K-drama of Han Ji Won for the year. Before she stars in Seoul Busters, she first made a special appearance in the hit ENA K-drama Crash led by Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Ho Chul, Choi Moon Hee, and Baek Hyun Jin

Han Ji Won made her acting debut in 2019. She is known for being part of the K-dramas When My Love Blooms, To My Star, The Empire, A Time Called You, and more. She was also one of the main leads of the 2022 film Awake together with Im Se Mi, Sung Ji Ru, and Jo Yong Joon

Han Ji Won will be working with main leads  Kim Dong Wook, Park Ji Hwan, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Se Wan, Lee Seung Woo, and Son Eun Seo in the upcoming K-drama. 

Seoul Busters will revolve around the nation's lowest-ranking homicide squad and the elite homicide squad leader working together to become the strongest team. 

Writers Lee Kwang Jae and Lee Young Chul who also worked for the K-dramas Smashing on Your Back, Potato Star 2013QR3, and more will helm the script for Seoul Busters. 

In the series, Han Ji Won will portray the role of Jeong Hyun Joo, an art student. Anticipation is rising as to how Han Ji Won's character will become intertwined with the homicide squad.

Seoul Busters will officially air on September 11 and it will have a total of 12 episodes. The upcoming K-drama will exclusively premiere on Disney+.
